Tanigawadake Joch located just around 2-hour trip from Tokyo, offers easy access to a snow mountain via ropeway. With the desire for everyone to safely and enjoyably experience the beauty of snow mountains, we are excited to announce the return of our popular snow mountain climbing school. This year, in addition to our "Introductory Course" for those just starting out in snow mountain climbing, we have also added a new "Basic Course" for those looking to take the next step.

Building on the content covered in the introductory practical training, this course allows participants to experience the challenges of steep slopes and encourages more independent decision-making.
Course Content
・Planning your walking route
・Smoothly putting on crampons
・Practicing multiple snow walking techniques on steep slopes
・How to hold and use an ice axe
・Responding to irregular conditions (self-arrest, walking in deep snow)
Climbing equipment rental,
exclusively for participants
Program participants can rent 12-point crampons for snow mountain climbing (¥2,000 per rental).
