Gondra Cruise Lunch
Enjoy a private gondola cruise and a unique lunch inspired by Swiss cuisine, limited to one group per day.
Private Gondola inspired by European Alpine Huts
Our specially designed gondola, limited to one group per day, features a unique interior inspired by European Alpine huts. Using locally sourced timber from Minakami Town, the warm atmosphere and wood aroma create a cozy space.
Appetizers and desserts
with a Swiss touch
On the ascending ropeway, enjoy appetizers inspired by the flavors of Tyrol. In the mountainous regions of Europe, people developed a culture of preserved foods like dried meat, cheese, and bread due to the deep snow that isolated them during winter. These special finger foods are inspired by this food culture.
On the descending ropeway, enjoy Swiss-inspired sweets on a special stand shaped like the ridge of Mt. Tanigawa.
Savor the mountain speciality
at a panoramic restaurant
At the ropeway summit's panoramic restaurant, enjoy our famous mountain gourmet dish, "Tanigawa Alpine Gratin."
Bread gratin is a classic European mountain dish, especially associated with the Alps. Due to the limited logistics in mountainous areas, people developed a way to make stale bread delicious by hollowing it out and baking it with plenty of milk and cheese. Bread gratin was a mountain feast.
