Mt. Tanigawa’s Ichinokurasawa, known as one of the heaviest snowfall areas in the Kanto region, is a place where you can encounter "natural coolness" nurtured by the Earth. This summer, we are introducing our first-ever "Chilled Mountain Stream Foot Dip" experience, born from our desire for you to experience a level of comfort through all five senses that artificial air conditioning can never replicate.

in 10°C Midsummer Water
Enjoy a footbath in chilly snowmelt water that stays around 10°C even during the summer, located at a spectacular, breathtaking spot where snowy gorges can still be seen. Why not experience the refreshing coolness in front-row seats filled with a sense of freedom that will make you forget the midsummer heat in an instant?
Original Plum Drink
with Mt. Tanigawa Water
We have prepared an original drink that combines the pure natural water of Mt. Tanigawa with plums grown in Gunma Prefecture, which boasts the second-highest production of fresh plums in Japan. The gentle tartness of the plum juice naturally restores your body and guides you into a relaxing moment of refreshment. Chilling the bottle in the ice-cold stream water enhances its crisp, refreshing flavor even further.
Cycling Through
"Wind Caves" & Forests
To reach the footbath site at Ichinokurasawa, you will ride an electric bicycle, enjoying a refreshing breeze and a forest bath along the way. Along the route, "wind caves" (fuketsu) are scattered where natural, chilly air blows out from the cracks in the rocks. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and treat yourself to a luxurious moment surrounded by the coolness of the great outdoors.
